Sabrina Jalees

Sabrina Jalees’s comedy has taken the world by storm. Opening for the likes of Russell Peters and a headliner comic in her own right, Sabrina never fails to draw laughter with her shoot-from-the-hip style. As a keynote speaker, Sabrina tells her personal story with sincerity and wit, relaying the message that when you own and embrace your individuality, you unlock the transformation from “embarrassed” to “empowered.”

When she started in comedy, Sabrina was the youngest comic to tour for Yuk Yuks, the youngest comic to record a Comedy Now special, and the youngest stand-up comedian to perform at the prestigious Just For Laugh’s Festival. Now a seasoned professional, Sabrina is well-known for her role on Much Music’s Video On Trial and as the former host of CBC Radio’s Laugh Out Loud with Sabrina Jalees. She was also the Toronto Star’s weekly humour columnist for three years.

As an actor, Sabrina has been seen in Mom at Sixteen, Flashpoint, System Crash, Plastic Makes Perfect and The A- List, and she also was a contender on Last Comic Standing.
